About eYELASH lICENSING

Eyelash Tech's operate as branch under Cosmetology; it focuses mainly on Eye and Eyelash Care rather than hair or skin services. Eyelash Tech's are Specialist's whose main function is to provide Artificial Eyelash Services and non-chemical eyelash treatment only. 

After completing the Eyelash Program, students should have a thorough understanding and be able to:

• Understand the Integratory System (skin).
• Understand contraindications for Eyelash services and the use of health-screening forms to safely perform Eyelash treatments.
• Understand hair growth phases.
• Understand Eye and eyelash anatomy and physiology
• Client Consultation.
• Understand Eye irritation and allergic reactions
• Understand and identify types of eyelash extension and adhesive
• Identify eyelash tools, supplies and techniques.
• Eyelash extension application and removal
• Practicing professional ethics and personal development.
• Apply basic first aid techniques.
• Apply basic safety precautions.
• Practice and utilize the rules, regulations and laws of the Maryland State Board of Cosmetologist
• Eyelash business and liability insurance
• Own or operate a spa and apply the principles and practices of eyelash spa managements.

The purpose of the program is to equip students with a sufficient and adequate base knowledge of the field of Eyelash Application and Care. We are proud to help students engage in forming a strong foundation to becoming a successful Eyelash Tech and develop a strong business sense and good ethical work standards. To prepare students for the Maryland State Board of Cosmetology, Eyelash Tech Examination and entry level employment.

The Eyelash program is offered as a hybrid program.

• Eyelash program is 100 clock hours total 
• Full time Eyelash Tech Program 20 hours a week.
• Course Completed in 5 weeks
• Students must attend 8 hours per-week in class.

Sunday's -8:30am -5:00pm

Monday's 3:00pm - 7:00pm

Wednesday's 5:00pm - 9:00pm
